Altinkum is building an exclusive new hotel, “Didim Beach Elegance” will feature 120 guest rooms, a fitness suite, and heavy emphasis on families. It will boast plenty of entertainment for children, which will include, dedicated Play station rooms and a children’s play area.

On the Ground floor of the hotel, it will also feature state-of-the-art spa facilities, a cinema, auditorium, a restaurant, bar, exclusive boutique shops.

Plans are also under careful consideration to integrate an American-style fast food operation on the site.

The hotel is being built on 2,300 square meters of land, which is close to the Third Beach. It is being built by Yusuf Mutlu, the owner of the Didim Beach Resort, which the new hotel stand next to, as well as the hotel, in Altinkum.

Mr Mutlu quoted: I’m really excited about this project, reason being, it will bring something fresh and new to the resort with a real emphasis on families.

However, other features of the building, such as the cinema, restaurants and fitness suite will be opened to the general public at large. It will also be the first time for Altinkum to have the development of spa hotel features.

The hotel will have a capacity to cater for 400 people, with 65 double bedrooms and 55 standard bedrooms.

Building work began last November and they are working on it to be opened before the start of the 2008 tourist season.

This week, Turkeys government announced plans that they want to become a spa tourism destination, with plans to become the world leaders by 2023.

Again this is great news for those who are investing in property and who have property in and around the Altinkum area. Over the next two years there will be a surge in tourism, which is good for the economy and will see house price’s dramatically rising.
